Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc Pharm) from an accredited institution. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is an advantage.
  • Registered Pharmacist with at least 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy dispensing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in Nigeria.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in pharmacy practice.

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to customers, including dispensing medications, counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications, and monitoring for drug interactions and adverse effects.
  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stock rotation to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and customer service.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient therapy and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal laws, pharmacy policies, and procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Implement and promote clinical services, such as medication therapy management, immunizations, and health screenings, to enhance patient care and expand revenue opportunities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including medication safety assessments, medication error reporting, and continuous process improvement.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and open communication among pharmacy staff and other departments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new medications, and advances in pharmacy practice through continuing education, professional development, and networking opportunities.
  • Flexibility to move between store locations as needed to support operational needs.
